Track 12: Analytical and Bio analytical Techniques:
An #analytical
technique is a method that is used to determine the concentration of a chemical compound or chemical element. There are a
wide variety of techniques used for analysis, from simple weighing (gravimetric
analysis) to titrations (titrimetric) to very advanced techniques using highly
specialized instrumentation. Bio analysis is a sub-discipline of analytical
chemistry covering the quantitative measurement of xenobiotic (drugs and their #metabolites, and
biological molecules in unnatural locations or concentrations) and biotic
(#macromolecules, proteins, DNA, large molecule drugs, metabolites) in
biological systems.
